Have you ever wondered, why are you are here? What is your purpose? What
if the Bible is true, and there is a wonderful, loving creator Who has a plan for your life?
God says in Jeremiah 29:11 "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future".
What if there is this wonderful plan for your life,
but you just haven't found it yet?
There is a Savior. His name is Jesus! He has a plan
for you, and it is awesome!! The only problem is most of us aren't willing to let Him reveal
His plan to us. This is what it takes. you'll NEVER regret it.
First, we must admit to God that we are not what He
had planned for us to be. We have chosen to go our own sinful way, and this has caused a
seperation between us and God. Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God".
Second, we must realize that this seperation from God
will lead us to death, not just physical death, but spiritual death. In other words eternity
in hell (Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord). If you're living in this world right now and don't know
Jesus as Lord, you probably know what I mean, Nothing makes sense. You look for things to
fill the voids, but they're only filled temporarily. Without Jesus, life is a living
hell.
Third, we must believe God, through His son Jesus, can
forgive our sin and give us eternal life, John 3:15, "...so that whoever believes will in
Him have eternal life."
If you have come to this time in your life, praise
God! There is nothing magical or mystical you need to do. Just pray to God and thank Him for
forgiving you and giving you eternity in Heaven.. He knows your heart.
Sounds easy doesn't it? It is! Trusting in Christ as
Savior is simple, if you truly understand there is nothing you can do to make yourself right
with God. He did all the work on the cross at Calvary and now He asks us to trust that His
gift of Himself is sufficient. Are you ready to trust Him?
Remember this, once you believe in Him, He will never
leave you! You may leave Him, you may go your own way, you will sin; but if you have truly
trusted Him as Savior in your life He will NEVER ABANDON YOU! Praise God!
